Need a large deep socket at least 40mm to press in M11 trans oil seals (without removing the spline). Or a tip on how else this can be accomplished. Thanks!

Can I start a thread for help with dropping my M11 trans? The main goal is the replace the 343 flexplate in my 1968 Ambo. I’m following the TSM, I have everything disconnected going to the trans, bell housing bolts to the block are out (I counted 8 total), X-member is out, when I lower the trans jack the whole engine lowers. I’m also not sure how to mark the original flexplate/converter location, is that through the small hexagonal converter access cover?
If anyone feels like replying via Messenger, I’m sorta stuck.

Thanks in advance!

Tony Lucas poses with his Best in Show-winning AMX. 'All-conquering' is the apt description here, though we didn't know it at the time. Not only is this 1970 AM

Members- please note the minor venue change for the June GMM. We will begin at 12:00 at Bakers in Milford. We will not meet at Wrenchers prior.

Thanks, and we hope everyone can attend!
